To all our Parade participants, supporters and volunteers,

Due to an ongoing concern of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), Irish Network Japan committee officially announces the cancellation of 2021 Tokyo’s St Patrick’s Day parade. It is with heavy heart that the parade has been cancelled since last year, but public safety and health are the first priority. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this cancellation may cause.

This year, however, the INJ (Tokyo) will have our first online event under the theme of “Cruinniú” in place of the annual parade. This will be a live stream video where guests from Japan and Ireland discuss all aspects of Irish Culture in Japan. The event will include interviews with several well known Irish and Japanese personalities as well as dance and music performances.

It will stream live on the 21st of March on our official YouTube channel.
